Meet Tiffiney

Hi There!

I’m Tiffiney – the happy momma in the middle row on the left – and this pyramid is made up of my beautiful family: my hunk of a husband and our six beautiful children (including my nephew!).

I’m blessed to be a stay-at-home mom. I spend my days being available to my husband, homeschooling our two youngest children, beautifying our home, and lamenting over the two who have already flown the coop.

My Marriage and Parenting Journey

I have been married for 23 years and I am having the time of my life as a wife and mom…but it hasn’t always been this way.

Over the years, God has worked a tremendous miracle in my heart regarding marriage and parenting. The word tremendous is NOT an exaggeration: I once hid on the side of my bed, bawling and curled up in a fetal position, while holding my head in an attempt to keep my brain from spilling out. (Can you picture that?)  It was ugly!

I was overwhelmed with the responsibilities of marriage, parenting and running a home.  I was in over my head and often felt like I was loosing my mind; but my husband and I clung to the hope that Jesus Christ offered.

Over time, I went from fantasizing daily about my toddlers growing up and leaving home, to wanting to slow down the clock in an effort to keep them longer.  This was truly a transformation!

“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new” (2 Corinthians 5:17).

I’m passionate about Jesus Christ because He saved me in every way possible.  Without Christ, I would be a lost sinner on my way to hell.  I would have also lost my marriage and the family that I’m blessed with today.  My surrender to the Cross of Christ changed the trajectory of my life completely!  Click here to read my 10 minute salvation testimony.  To learn more about this truly amazing God I serve, click here.

Meet My Family!

I’m certain that if it were not for prayer, God’s word, and my husband’s love, I’d be on med’s. Thankfully, my husband is THE Master at dealing with my perceived psychosis (He ‘da man!).  Our kids call him “Yoda” (as in the character from Star Wars) because he’s always teaching them some practical or spiritual truth and offering nuggets of wisdom.

I have 6 beautiful kids whom I adore; as I said earlier, this is another miracle (the adoring part) which God has worked in my heart. Like any typical mom I love bragging about my kids, so hop over to My Family page to “meet” them all. (UmReally? You’re still here?)

The fact that God moves on my heart to share about the beauty and blessings of family and home – considering my more than rocky start – completely astounds me!  I guess God does use cracked pots.  I hope you think so, too.  🙂

Thanks for stopping by for a visit and allowing me to share. I pray your hearts at home here.

“Who am I, Lord God, and what is my family that you have brought me [us] this far?”   (I Chronicles 17:16b.  Strikethrough and “us” is mine.)
